Discover how the Office of Student Transition Experiences (OSTE) supports students as they navigate key academic and personal milestones at Northwestern. As the office that hosts new student orientation (better known as Wildcat Welcome), we help students build connections, develop skills, and successfully transition both to and through their Northwestern experience.

Led by current Northwestern undergraduates, these sessions will cover community spaces open to all students like our Multicultural Center, support offices like Academic Support & Learning Advancement, and student-run organizations that engage our whole community in celebrating the different cultures and backgrounds we bring to campus.
These sessions will begin with a panel of current students followed by opportunities to connect in breakout rooms with our panelists and your future classmates.
Parents and family members will share their experiences about their students' transition to Northwestern and discuss the resources they have found helpful. The Office of Family Engagement and the panelists will also answer any questions you may have to help prepare you for the exciting journey ahead!
